Code Switching - Being POC in the Corporate World (Part 1)

In a world which you are expected to fit in a box, many people of color, African Diasporan, and indigenous people have consciously and subconsciously relied on cod-switching to survive in a colonized culture. Some code-switch inadvertently that they will slip into a different language or accent without even realizing it or intending to do it. Most code-switch to survive in corporate and commercial environments for their livelihood.
Code-switching is often seen as a double edge sword that many experience negative situations due to their code-switching or being told that they talk "white."

She Who Shapes The Land, Pele the Goddess of Fire WIth Mana Comics

Pelehonuamea is one of the most feared and respected gods of Hawai'i. Pele is the mother of the red earth, goddess of volcanoes, and is also known as she who devours and shapes the land.
