Negotiation skills are important both in the workplace and in personal life. In the workplace, they help you achieve long-term career success, boost productivity & reduce workplace conflicts. In your personal life, they boost your creative & reasoning abilities, make it more difficult for people to take advantage of you & make you a better strategist. At home, these skills also help you navigate and bring out the best in your most important relationships.

Hollywood and mainstream media puts out beautiful side of Hawaiʻi as an island paradise. While Hawaiʻi is a wonderful place to live, the natives of this land face a lot of challenges in our own homeland that no one ever sees or talks about. While popular films such as Disneyʻs Moana bring more attention the islands, critics have said that films fail to address the actual lives and challenges that Pacific Islanders and the local communities face. It's not all bad. It's not all good. How do we find balance?
